Another Car Seat Cover Up

One of my best friends growing up just had her first baby, a boy, a couple of weeks ago! I promised her a homemade gift and I delivered. Or so I am delivering, I will mail it out Monday. Sometimes I have the hardest time finding fabric to use for baby boys. There is plenty of cutesy stuff out there, but for things like these cover-ups I feel like they need to be stylish since mom is carrying them around and they need to fit the gender. I found this fabric at Joanns with the black, grey and cream circles and I thought it would be perfect for a boy car seat cover up. Click here for original post with links to the patterns. (Next project is one for my little guy, I just love the fabric I picked for him, my favorite so far, I'm also making a carseat blanket with the same material)

Cute Head Band

Last Christmas my friend Amy made me some headbands as a gift. She mentioned that she got the pattern free off of Heather Bailey's blog. So I rushed home and downloaded the pattern. But it has almost been a year and I haven't made one until now. I made my daughter a dress and I wanted to make her a headband to match.

And here it is, so simple and easy to make. You can get the free download here.

Here is my daughter modeling it with her new dress. Excuse the un-lady like position. This was the closest shot I had of her head with the headband on it. You can see more about the dress here.

Another Sweet Little Dress

Found this fabric at Joann's for 40% off. It's cordurouy and I just loved the little owls. I saw it and said, "I have to make Mckynlee a dress out of that" and so I bought it. Click here for original post for links to the pattern.

Here is my daughter showing it off. I also made a matching headband to go with it.

Another Car Seat Cover Up

Made this for my friend Mallory. I threw her a baby shower. She's having a girl and I really liked this material. Click here for orginal post for this pattern.
